PG&E MARTIN SUBSTATION

Project Description

Located in a residential neighborhood at the edge of San Francisco, the Martin Substation benefits from a new tenfoot-high perimeter wall designed as both a security measure and community amenity. Comprising approximately 4,320 linear sf, its design uses concrete masonry block, punctuated by back-lit channel glass inserts that glow softly at night and deep ceramic tile faced reveals using local Heath Ceramics from Sausalito. The LED lighting system is powered by on site solar panels.
